Lance Corporal Rick McLain, Jr., his wife Kira and ER Jeff Neal .  

The Millinocket Elks Lodge #1521 had Rick as their first "Adopt a Soldier". He is now in North Carolina for advanced training and will be returning to Iraq in November. The idea is to help soldiers while they are abroad with things he or she might need or want to make life a little better and know we are still thinking about them. Rick presented to the lodge a plaque with his unit's badges and a couple of coins that were made for them. Our new soldiers are Adam Bouchard and Nicholas Smith. We will be sending each of them a package very shortly. Donations for this can be made at the bar. Thank you to all who have helped and those that will help.

A & B Pool Tournament

     To all of those lucky people who are still playing in the B side of the A & B Pool Tournament, we need to get these games rolling. Some people haven't played in over a month. Let's try to get these games done with in a couple of weeks.

DUES ARE DUE. 

If you are not paid up by April 1st you are delinquent and are not to be in 

the lodge until you are paid up. Make sure your membership card shows you 

as being paid up until October 1, 2008 at the earliest.
